Balsamic Marinara Sauce
Ingredients:
- 1 (14.5 oz.) can Dei Fratelli Petite Diced Tomatoes, drained
- 1 (15 oz.) can Dei Fratelli Tomato Sauce
- 4 Tbsp. Balsamic Vinegar
- 1 Tbsp. Garlic, minced
- 1 Tbsp. Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 1 1/2 tsp. Black Pepper
- 1 tsp. Sea Salt
- 1 Tbsp. Basil, chopped
Instructions:
- In a medium saucepan, combine Dei Fratelli Petite Diced Tomatoes and Tomato Sauce. Add in the balsamic vinegar, minced garlic, extra virgin olive oil, salt, and pepper.
- Heat your saucepan over medium-high heat and bring the marinara sauce to a boil.
- Once boiling, lower the heat to medium-low and allow the pasta sauce to simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Remove the balsamic marinara from the heat and stir in fresh, chopped basil.
- Serve this homemade pasta sauce on top of your favorite pasta or chicken!
