Tomato Juice Brownies
Ingredients:
- 1 Cup Dei Fratelli Tomato Juice
- 1 3/4 Cups Brown Sugar
- 1 Cup Vegetable Oil
- 1 Egg
- 1 1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract
- 2 1/2 Cups Flour
- 2/3 Cup Cocoa Powder
- 1 tsp. Salt
- 1 tsp. Baking Soda
- 1/2 tsp. Nutmeg
- 2/3 Cup Rolled Oats
- 1 Cup Chocolate Chips
- Pan Spray, as needed
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 375 F.
- In a large bowl, mix Dei Fratelli Tomato Juice, brown sugar, vegetable oil, egg, and vanilla. Set aside.
- In a second large bowl, add flour, cocoa powder, salt, baking soda, nutmeg, and ginger. Mix until well blended.
- Slowly add the flour mixture into the tomato juice mixture. Keep mixing until all dry ingredients are mixed with wet ingredients.
- Add the rolled oats and chocolate chips. Mix together until well incorporated.
- In a greased 9×13 pan, add the brownie batter until evenly spread. Bake for 25 minutes.
