Made using Dei Fratelli Tomato Juice, nutmeg, and ginger. Our Tomato Juice Brownies recipe combines crispy edges with rich chocolate flavor to create an indulgent dessert for everyone.

Ingredients:

  • 1 Cup Dei Fratelli Tomato Juice
  • 1 3/4 Cups Brown Sugar
  • 1 Cup Vegetable Oil
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 2 1/2 Cups Flour
  • 2/3 Cup Cocoa Powder
  • 1 tsp. Salt
  • 1 tsp. Baking Soda
  • 1/2 tsp. Nutmeg
  • 2/3 Cup Rolled Oats
  • 1 Cup Chocolate Chips
  • Pan Spray, as needed

Instructions:

  • Preheat oven to 375 F.
  • In a large bowl, mix Dei Fratelli Tomato Juice, brown sugar, vegetable oil, egg, and vanilla.  Set aside.
  • In a second large bowl, add flour, cocoa powder, salt, baking soda, nutmeg, and ginger.  Mix until well blended.
  • Slowly add the flour mixture into the tomato juice mixture.  Keep mixing until all dry ingredients are mixed with wet ingredients.
  • Add the rolled oats and chocolate chips.  Mix together until well incorporated.
  • In a greased 9×13 pan, add the brownie batter until evenly spread.  Bake for 25 minutes.

Chef's Tip:

For added sweetness, sprinkle powdered sugar on top once the brownies are cooled.
