Slow Cooker Chicken Parmesan
Ingredients:
- 1 (28 oz.) can Dei Fratelli Crushed Tomatoes with Basil & Herbs
- 1/4 Cup Italian Bread Crumbs
- 1/2 Cup White Onion , diced
- 1/2 Cup Red Bell pepper, diced
- 1 Cup Chicken Broth
- 4 Breaded Chicken Breast Tenderloins, frozen, fully cooked
- 4 slices Mozzarella Cheese
- 1 Tbsp. Parmesan Cheese, grated
Instructions:
- In a 4-quart slow cooker, mix together Dei Fratelli Crushed Tomatoes with Basil & Herbs, breadcrumbs, onion, red pepper, and chicken broth.
- Place the chicken tenderloins into the mixture and stir until evenly coated. Cover and cook on high for 3 hours.
- Remove lid and cover mixture evenly with mozzarella slices. Sprinkle parmesan cheese on top, re-cover, and cook an additional 15 minutes, or until cheese is melted.
