The perfect snack with some cheese and crackers or to top on your favorite sandwich, our Tomato Orange Pickles combine the freshness of Dei Fratelli Tomato Juice with the tart flavors of orange juice and orange zest for these deliciously easy homemade pickles.

  • 1 (46 oz.) can Dei Fratelli Tomato Juice
  • 3 Cups Red Wine Vinegar
  • 3/4 Cup Maple Syrup
  • 3 Tbsp. Orange Zest
  • 3/4 Cup Orange Juice
  • 3 Garlic Cloves
  • 12 Pickling Cucumbers, cut into coins
  • 2 tsp. Sea Salt


  • Place the sliced cucumbers in a bowl and season with salt Cover and let sit for 40 minutes. Dry with a paper towel and put in a glass container.
  • Combine Dei Fratelli Tomato Juice and the remaining ingredients in a saucepan and bring to a gentle simmer, for about 3 minutes.
  • Pour the brine over the cucumbers and let cool to room temperature. Place in the refrigerator and let chill for at least 12 hours before serving.

Chef's Tip:

These pickles are great on sandwiches, or as a quick snack right out of the fridge.
