Sweet Potato Casserole

A favorite holiday side dish that tastes just as good as dessert. Our Sweet Potato Casserole is made with Dei Fratelli Stewed Tomatoes, pecans, and brown sugar to create this sweet and delicious Thanksgiving side!

Ingredients:
- 1 (28 oz.) Dei Fratelli Stewed Tomatoes, drained and chopped
- 4 large Sweet Potatoes
- 1 Cup Pecan Pieces
- 1/2 tsp. Sea Salt
- 1/4 Cup Butter, melted
- 1/4 Cup Light Brown Sugar
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 375 F.
- Roast sweet potatoes on a baking sheet for 1 hour, or until soft. Remove the skins, move to a large bowl, and lightly mash. Gently mix with Dei Fratelli Stewed Tomatoes, pecans, and sea salt.
- In a separate bowl, combine melted butter and brown sugar. Spread the mixture evenly along the bottom of a 9×13 baking dish. Add sweet potato mixture on top and bake for 20 minutes.
Chef's Tip:
Add another thin layer of brown sugar after baking and broil for 1-2 minutes for a nice, caramelized top!
