Ingredients:
- 1 (28 oz.) can Dei Fratelli Crushed Tomatoes
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 3 Tbsp. Garlic, minced
- 6 Tbsp. White Onion, minced
- 1 1/2 Cups Beer Stout, recommended
- 3/4 Cup Light Brown Sugar
- 3/4 Cup Dijon Mustard
- 2 Tbsp. Black Pepper
- 1 Tbsp. Honey
Instructions:
- In a large saucepan, heat oil over medium-high heat. Add garlic and onion and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Add beer and brown sugar. Cook until brown sugar is dissolved, about 3-4 minutes, stirring continuously.
- Add Dei Fratelli Crushed Tomatoes and remaining ingredients. Stir until well incorporated and cook until glaze has thickened, about 10 minutes.
Chef's Tip:
This steak glaze would go great as a sauce for grilled veggie kabobs or served warm on a plant-based veggie burger.
