You can never go wrong with classic Chunky Spaghetti Sauce. Mix a #10 can of Dei Fratelli Diced Tomatoes, granulated onion, and extra virgin to make this delicious traditional sauce that you can serve over any pasta of your choosing. This Foodservice recipe offers 12 servings making it plenty for a big crowd.

Ingredients:

  • 1 #10 can Diced Tomatoes
  • 1 Tbsp. Basil, dried
  • 1 Tbsp. Graulated Garlic
  • 1 1/2 tsp. Granulated Onion
  • 1/3 Cup Granulated Sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 3/4 tsp. Black Pepper

Instructions:

  • Mix all ingredients in a large bowl.
  • Place in a large pot and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 18-20 minutes.
  • Allow to cool and keep refrigerated for up to 5 days.

Chef's Tip:

Serve over spaghetti or choice of pasta.
