With so many baked Ziti recipes, it can be hard to see what will work best for you. Luckily, our Beef Ziti recipe will satisfy everyone, and being able to make 24 servings makes it perfect for Foodservice. A #10 can of Dei Fratelli Deluxe Marinara Sauce, ground beef, and ricotta cheese creates this delicious recipe layered with fresh ingredients.

Ingredients:

  • 1 #10 can Deluxe Marinara Sauce
  • 7 lbs. Ziti Pasta, cooked
  • 4 lbs. Ground Beef, cooked
  • 4 lbs. Ricotta Cheese
  • 4 Eggs
  • Parmesan Cheese, to taste
  • Mozzarella Cheese, to taste
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black Pepper, to taste

Instructions:

  • Preheat oven to 350 F.
  • In a large bowl, combine ricotta cheese and eggs.
  • In a large casserole dish or lasagna pan, spread a layer of Dei Fratelli Deluxe Marinara Sauce on the bottom.
  • Add a layer of ziti pasta, a layer of ricotta cheese mixture, a layer of ground beef, and top with a layer of Deluxe Marinara Sauce. Repeat this process until your pan is full. This recipe will fill 2 large pans.
  • Season your pasta bake with salt and pepper and top with parmesan and mozzarella cheese.
  • Cover the pans with foil and bake for 60 minutes.
  • Remove pans from the oven and increase the oven temperature to 425 F.
  • Return Beef Ziti pans back into the oven and bake until the cheese is melted, about 15 minutes.

Chef's Tip:

Top with fresh, chopped basil for added flavor!
