Homemade Ketchup

Our Homemade Ketchup has a fresh and delicious flavor that adds a great homemade touch! Mixing a #10 can of Dei Fratelli Tomato Paste, brown sugar, and black pepper creates a tasty condiment that with 120 servings, serves all your Foodservice needs.

Ingredients:
- 1 (#10) can Dei Fratelli Tomato Paste
- 1 Gallon + 1 Quart Water
- 5 Cups Brown Sugar
- 5 Cups White Vinegar
- 1/3 Cup Salt
- 3 Tbsp. Granulated Onion
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. Mustard Powder
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. Black Pepper
- 2 tsp. Mace
- 2 tsp. Coriander
- 2 tsp. Allspice
- 2 tsp. Cinnamon
Instructions:
- In a large bowl, whisk Dei Fratelli Tomato Paste and water until smooth and well combined.
- Add remaining ingredients and mix until all spices are evenly distributed.
- Place in a large stock pot and cook over medium-low heat, stirring frequently until sugar is dissolved, about 10 minutes.
- Allow to cool slightly and place in a blender or large food processor.
- Blend until smooth. You may need to do this in batches.
- Chill before serving.
Chef's Tip:
Serve with French fries, burgers, or hot dogs for a delicious all-purpose ketchup!
