Ingredients:

  • 1 (28 oz.) can Dei Fratelli Chopped Italian Tomatoes, drained and rinsed
  • 1 (16 oz.) package Rotelle Pasta
  • 4 Tbsp. Unsalted Butter
  • 1/4 Cup Flour
  • 4 Cups Milk
  • 4 Cups Sharp Cheddar Cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 tsp. Salt
  • 1/4 tsp. Black Pepper
  • 2 Cups Broccoli Florets, chopped small
  • 4 Cups Croutons, crushed

Instructions:

  • Preheat oven to 350 F.
  • Boil water in a large pot. Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente.  Drain and set aside.
  • While pasta is cooking, melt butter on medium-low heat in a second pot.  Add flour and whisk well to create a paste.  Slowly whisk in milk and cook over medium heat until the sauce is a velvety consistency, about 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
  • Add cheese and stir well to combine.  Continue cooking until cheese is melted, about 5 minutes.
  • Fold in cooked pasta, Dei Fratelli Chopped Italian Tomatoes, and broccoli. Combine well and pour into a 9×13 baking dish.  Top with crushed croutons and bake for 20 minutes.

Chef's Tip:

No croutons on hand?  Why not try topping with toasted breadcrumbs, crushed potato chips, or crumbled cheese-flavored crackers!
