The perfect topper for your bagel, sandwich, or crackers, our Green Chili Relish combines Dei Fratelli Chopped Mexican Tomatoes with green chilies, bell pepper, and onions for this quick and easy recipe perfect to add flavor to any meal or charcuterie board in minutes!

Ingredients:

  • 1 (14.5 oz.) can Dei Fratelli Chopped Mexican Tomatoes, drained
  • 1 (4.5 oz.) can Chopped Green Chilies
  • 3 Tbsp. Green Bell Pepper, minced
  • 2 Tbsp. White Onion, minced
  • 1/3 Cup Maple Syrup
  • 1/3 Cup Rice Vinegar

Instructions:

  • In a medium saucepan, combine Dei Fratelli Chopped Mexican Tomatoes with chopped green chilies, green bell pepper, white onion, and maple syrup. Bring to a steady simmer for 8-10 minutes over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
  • When the liquid in the saucepan has reduced by half, add the rice vinegar and cook for an additional 3 minutes.
  • Allow the relish to cool before serving or store in an airtight container in the fridge.

Chef's Tip:

Goes great on toast or on a bagel with smashed avocado.
