Ingredients:

  • 1 (15 oz.) can Dei Fratelli Tomato Sauce
  • 2 Tbsp. Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1/4 Cup Onion, minced
  • 1/2 Cup Almond Butter
  • 1/4 Cup Tamari
  • 1/4 Cup Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 2 Tbsp. Brown Sugar, packed
  • 2 Tbsp. Molasses
  • 2 tsp. Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1/2 tsp. Black Pepper

  • Add Dei Fratelli Tomato Sauce and other remaining ingredients to the medium saucepan. Whisk together and allow to simmer until slightly thickened, about 8-10 minutes.
  • Remove almond butter barbecue sauce from heat and blend sauce until smooth with a blender.
  • Spread barbecue sauce over a cooked rotisserie chicken until it is coated thoroughly.
  • Bake rotisserie chicken in the oven for 15-20 minutes or until well heated.
