Ingredients

Instructions

  • In a large saucepan, heat ground beef, onion, and celery over medium heat. Cook until beef is browned, about 8-10 minutes.  Drain grease.
  • Add remaining ingredients, except pasta, and combine well.  Reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes.
  • While sauce is simmering, bring a large pot of water to a boil.  Cook rigatoni according to package instructions until al dente.  Drain and set aside.
  • Once pasta has simmered, toss pasta directly into sauce.  Allow the pasta to rest for at least 15 minutes before serving – the longer it sits, the better it gets!

Notes

Garnish with more parmesan cheese.  Serve with toasted garlic bread.
