Ingredients

  • 1 (28 oz.) can Dei Fratelli Crushed Tomatoes
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 3 Tbsp. Garlic minced
  • 6 Tbsp. White Onion minced
  • 1 1/2 Cups Beer Stout recommended
  • 3/4 Cup Light Brown Sugar
  • 3/4 Cup Dijon Mustard
  • 2 Tbsp. Black Pepper
  • 1 Tbsp. Honey

Instructions

  • In a large saucepan, heat oil over medium-high heat. Add garlic and onion and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  • Add beer and brown sugar. Cook until brown sugar is dissolved, about 3-4 minutes, stirring continuously.
  • Add Dei Fratelli Crushed Tomatoes and remaining ingredients. Stir until well incorporated and cook until glaze has thickened, about 10 minutes.

Notes

This steak glaze would go great as a sauce for grilled veggie kabobs or served warm on a plant-based veggie burger.
