Quick Sauerkraut Dinner
Our Quick Sauerkraut Dinner is the perfect way to add some authentic German cuisine to your dinner table! Made with Silver Fleece Sauerkraut, sliced kielbasa, and russet potatoes this recipe celebrates your family heritage in a quick and easy way!
Servings 4 servings
Ingredients
- 1 (14 oz.) can Silver Fleece Sauerkraut drained
- 7 oz. Kielbasa sliced
- 1 1/2 Cups Russet Potatoes small diced
- 1 Cup Water
- 1 tsp. Caraway Seeds
- 1/2 tsp. Granulated Onion
- Salt to taste
- Black Pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large sauté pan, cook kielbasa pieces until crispy, about 5 minutes. Set aside on a paper towel to remove grease.
- Add diced potatoes to pan and sear outside over medium-high heat for 1-2 minutes, stirring occasionally. Reduce heat to low and add water and caraway seeds. Simmer and reduce, about 6 minutes.
- Add Silver Fleece Sauerkraut and seasonings. Heat through, about 2 more minutes. Serve with kielbasa on top.
Notes
Garnish with sliced chives.
