Be festive with our Red, White, & Blue Cake! Made with Dei Fratelli Gluten-Free Tomato Soup, this cake is topped with white frosting, strawberries, and blueberries for a fruity dessert at your 4th of July party.

Ingredients:

FOR TOMATO SOUP SPICE CAKE:

  • 1 (10.75 oz.) can Dei Fratelli Gluten-Free Tomato Soup
  • 1 (18.75 oz.) package Spice Cake Mix
  • 1/2 Cup Water
  • 2 Eggs
  • Cream Cheese Frosting

FOR RED, WHITE, & BLUE CAKE:

  • 1 Full Tomato Soup Spice Cake Recipe
  • 1 carton Strawberries, washed
  • 1 carton Blueberries, washed

Instructions:

  • Preheat oven to 350 F.
  • Grease and lightly flour two 8" or 9" round cake pans.
  • Combine cake mix, Dei Fratelli Gluten-Free Tomato Soup, water, and eggs according to package directions.  Pour into prepared pans.
  • Bake for 25 minutes, or until done, then cool on wire racks for 10 minutes.
  • Remove from pans and cool completely.
  • Fill and frost with your favorite cream cheese frosting.
  • Using paper towel, pat dry strawberries and blueberries.  Slice strawberries and arrange in a circle pattern on the outside of the top of the cake. Fill center with blueberries.
