Make pizza your favorite comfort food with Pizza Pot Pie Supreme! Dei Fratelli Pizza Sauce and mushrooms fill a pizza dough bowl and are topped with muenster cheese to make this delicious recipe.
1(16 oz.) ballPizza Dough, brought to room temperature
1/4CupButter, melted
1Tbsp.Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1CupGround Italian Sausage
1CupWhite Onion, diced
1(15 oz.) canMushroom Stems and Pieces, drained and rinsed
8SlicesMuenster Cheese

Instructions:
Preheat oven according to package instructions on pizza dough.
Lightly flour a work surface. Split dough in half and roll out pizza dough so it will lay over the top of the bowls with a 1” edge hanging off all around. Place dough on top of bowl and bake according to package instructions.
While dough is baking, heat oil in a large sauté pan over medium heat. Add sausage and cook until slightly browned, about 5 minutes.
Add onion and mushrooms and continue cooking another 3-5 minutes. Remove from heat and add Dei Fratelli Pizza Sauce. Mix well.
When dough is done baking, allow to cool and invert. Fill each dough evenly with sausage mixture. Pinwheel 4 slices of muenster cheese over each one and bake for another 10 minutes, or until cheese is melted and golden brown.
