Right from our family kitchen, our mom created her famous Mom’s Meatloaf that our whole family loves.  Made with Dei Fratelli Tomato Sauce, ground beef or turkey, and Dijon mustard this recipe is made with family in mind.

Ingredients:

  • 1 (15 oz.) can Dei Fratelli Tomato Sauce
  • 2 lbs. Ground Beef , or turkey
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1/4 Cup Bread Crumbs
  • 1/4 Cup White Onion, small diced
  • 2 tsp. Dijon Mustard
  • 1 tsp. Garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp. Salt
  • 1/4 tsp. Black Pepper, ground

Instructions:

  • Preheat oven to 375 F.
  • In a large bowl, combine 1 cup Dei Fratelli Tomato Sauce with all of the ingredients.  Reserve remaining tomato sauce for later.
  • Place mixture in a loaf pan and bake for 1 hour and 10 minutes, or until meat is fully cooked to 165 F.
  • Remove from oven and spread remaining tomato sauce evenly over the top of the loaf.  Place back in the oven and bake for an additional 10 minutes.

Chef's Tip:

Substitute ground beef for your favorite plant-based meat alternative.
