Spice up your famous rice bowls with our Char Siu! Make in bulk for the whole family or incorporate it into your Foodservice menu, this recipe combines Star Cross Chili Sauce with tamari, honey, and Chinese five spice for a deliciously spicy sauce!

Ingredients:

  • 1 #10 can Star Cross Chili Sauce
  • 1 Cup Tamari
  • 1 Cup Mirin
  • 3/4 Cup Honey
  • 2 Tbsp. Vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp. Garlic, minced
  • 1 Tbsp. Chinese Five Spice
  • 2 tsp. Black Pepper, ground

Instructions:

  • Mix together all ingredients in a large bowl.
  • Keep refrigerated for up to 5 days.

Heat it up and use it as a sauce with your favorite protein and rice!
