Add some pizza flavor to your favorite nuts with these Pizza Tamari Nuts! With Dei Fratelli Simply Pizza Sauce, Oregano, and Garlic creating these seasoned almonds and cashews is quick and easy for a weekday snack!

Ingredients:

  • 1 (14 oz.) jar Dei Fratelli Simply Pizza Sauce
  • 3/4 Cup Tamari
  • 1 tsp. Granulated Garlic
  • 1 tsp. Dried Oregano
  • 1 1/2 lbs. Almonds
  • 1 1/2 lbs. Cashews
  • Pan Spray, as needed

Instructions:

  • Preheat oven to 300 F.
  • In a medium bowl, combine Dei Fratelli Simply Pizza Sauce, tamari, garlic, and oregano.
  • Toss in almonds and cashews and stir well until everything is evenly coated and seasoned.
  • Spread onto 2 lightly greased baking sheets.
  • Bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes, tossing every 25 minutes to ensure even baking.
  • Allow to cool completely and store in an airtight container.

Chef's Tip:

When removing from the oven, transfer to a room-temperature baking sheet to ensure the nuts stay crunchy.
