Our 3 Meat Chili combines Dei Fratelli Diced Tomatoes and Tomato Puree with your favorite meat and beans to create a traditional chili your whole family will enjoy.

Ingredients:

  • 1 (28 oz.) can Dei Fratelli Diced Tomatoes
  • 1 (15 oz.) can Dei Fratelli Tomato Sauce
  • 1 lb. Ground Beef
  • 1/2 lb. Chorizo
  • 1/2 lb. Bacon, chopped
  • 1 Cup White Onion, diced
  • 1 Cup Green Bell Pepper, diced
  • 1 (15 oz.) can Kidney Beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 (15 oz.) can Garbanzo Beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 (15 oz.) can Black Beans, drained and rinsed
  • 4 Cups Water
  • 1 Tbsp. Chili Powder
  • 1 Tbsp. Red Pepper Flakes
  • 1 tsp. Cumin
  • 1 tsp. Black Pepper
  • 1 tsp. Scallions

Instructions:

  • In a large pot, cook ground beef, chorizo, and bacon over medium-high heat until browned, about 10 minutes. Drain grease, but do not wipe the pot. Set meat aside.
  • In same pot, add onion and green pepper. Cook until onions are tender, about 5 minutes.
  • Add meat, Dei Fratelli Diced TomatoesDei Fratelli Tomato Sauce, and remaining ingredients to pot. Bring to a simmer for 60 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Chef's Tip:

Garnish with shredded cheese, sour cream, and chives.  Freeze leftovers to thaw later for an easy meal!
